Originating from the Latin word, Februarius, meaning "to purify." A month of purification, following the month of new beginnings. An opportunity to reflect on your life's settings and a time to start seeking the right goals. But how do you seek after the right goals without purpose?
What is purpose and why is it essential?
Purpose is your reason for existence. An authentic reason, connecting to your natural instinct and intuition. It is why you don't hit snooze. It is why you set goals with deadlines. It is why you are persistently motivated. It is why you feel alive. There are many more reasons; potentially, it is every reason. Additionally, we say authentic because it should be a purpose that entails you and not something negatively influenced or controlled by external factors (societal pressures, parents, friends, social media, etc.). This will result in wholeness. Remember to work inward rather than outward.
This purpose is relatively easy to discover. "If it is easy, then why don't I know my purpose, LOOM?" Well, are you letting these external factors define who you are? This may lead you to reject your authentic purpose because of your deluded perspective on life, resulting in a false path (distracted by money, fame, attention, approval, and so on).
To begin, think back to your childhood (The Primal Inclination Strategy - Mastery by Robert Greene). A time in which your creativity was true. A time where this uniqueness expressed itself in its purest form, isolated from society and its expectations. Ask yourself, "What was I instinctively attracted to? What put a smile on my face? What made me feel present?" Dedicate some time to reflect on your past. Do you feel that natural excitement?
Once you have a finger on your purpose, you'll notice this mental pillar that will stabilize and guide you in times of struggle or uncertainty. This is the first step in improving your skillset.
What if I am currently unaware of my purpose?
That is completely fine! The quest in finding one’s purpose requires patience, reflection, and action. Climb the ladder but make sure the ladder is leaning against the right wall so that every step you take will get you to the right place. The worst thing that could happen is to waste our valuable time which is why we must avoid stagnancy. But even during these times of stagnancy, we are given the gift to reflect. Think of it as a pit-stop. During this pit-stop we are advancing our spiritual productivity, leading to a sense of purpose.

This is such great insight, especially for young people seeking their purpose. You touch on so many points to consider and remember to help get one on their journey in life. Being born in February, even though I do not believe in horoscopes, this message is an every day, minute second & moment process of one’s soul existence. One thing you can believe is that time waits on no one so the sooner we direct our focus on purpose, the better fulfilled our lives will be. Thank you for your insight and words of wisdom. Keep it coming young man. Being who you are is welcomed and NEEDED in this world today. You included great information and assistance to get started. No excuses :-). Stay blessed.

I loved this blog post. It’s something I’ve struggled with a lot recently. The journey towards purpose is slow, but I’m taking steps to ensure my best future. I’ve started waking up before 8 to get my workout in before class and have extra time for homework afterwards. The 333 is an awesome idea and the quotes reminded me of one of my favorites: At dawn, when you have trouble getting out of bed, tell yourself: “I have to go to work — as a human being. What do I have to complain of, if I’m going to do what I was born for — the things I was brought into the world to do? Or is this what I was created for? To huddle under the blankets and stay warm? there is a greater purpose for all of us out there.
I really like where it actually takes the time to define what it means to actually be authentic, most people don’t think that deep into it. Very pensive, but love the blogs. Keep’em cominggg!
333 is an awesome idea to put into these blogs! i love that!
